The Full Story
Not everyone preparing for NEET gets to study full-time. I helped run my father's hardware shop during the day, which meant my study hours only started late at night, when the rest of the house was asleep.
I couldn't attend fixed coaching timings, so a self-paced option was the only thing that fit my life. My phone became my classroom — I would take mock tests sitting on the shop floor and review my mistakes on the bus.
With so few hours, I couldn't afford to waste any. The analysis told me exactly which topics would give me the most marks for the least time, so every tired late-night hour actually counted for something.
I scored 588 out of 720 and got admission into a government college in my state. It's not an all-India topper's rank, but for a boy studying between customers and past midnight, it changed my family's future.
Challenges Faced
Balancing real work with serious NEET preparation. My study hours were fewer than everyone else's, and I had zero room to waste even one of them.
How Kitabey Helped
Data-driven priorities made my limited hours count, and the self-paced structure fit around a work schedule that no coaching class ever could have.
Study Routine
- Helped at the shop through the day, revised theory in the quiet hours
- Main study block from 10 PM to 1 AM, when the house was silent
- Reviewed mock mistakes during my daily bus commute
- Took full mocks on the shop's weekly off day
- Focused only on high-yield topics — no time for anything else
